July

We did so many fun things this month! Several times we we to Seven Peaks water park with Trent, Heidi, and Mia Escandon. So much fun!

Of course we went to church every Sunday. Once, we even went down to Provo to hear Uncle Stevey speak in Sacrament meeting.

Jack has developed an extra strong love for playing with his dinosaurs.

Dan and Heather Castellano came to visit! They even got to stay the night! Jack was so excited to see Ethan again. The next day, we had a law school reunion. So fun!

Aunt Whitney and her kids came for a visit on the 4th of July! While they were here, we went to a really neat train store here in Salt Lake that had a real train you could ride. Jack was so excited about it, until the moment you could get on, then he screamed bloody murder... Such is life I guess.

Jack got really creative with his climbing skills.

We love watching the weather roll in up here on Ensign Peak. It's one of our favorite things ever.

We picked a LOT of zucchini from Pop's garden.

The Roberts came for a visit. We drove down to Provo to meet up with them. Whitney and Jillian, and Adam and Amanda came too. We toured BYU campus, went to the creamery for ice cream, and drove to Bridal Veil Falls. It was so hot that day, and Charlie fell asleep in his carseat while his ice cream just melted all over him...

Charlie decided to stand on his own!

Jack explored the wonderful world of make up...

One day, we went to Traverse Mountain outlets with Lolly and Pop, and then stopped by Cabella's to see/feed the fish. So cool!
We got milkshakes and french fries on the way home. Charlie was cracking us up while he was eating his fries..

We went to Liberty Park a lot this summer. It was one of our favorite spots. Whitney joined us a couple of times. So fun!

Jack has started refusing to take a nap. So every once in a while, he'll crash, totally exhausted, on the floor...

One Saturday, we rode trax. The boys were so excited to ride the "train". It was a lot of fun, except we missed our transfer and ended up having to walk several blocks back to the free zone. We rewarded ourselves with some donuts...

We went to the aviary with the Cannons. It was really neat!

I went to a girl's night at Whitney's house with Kristen and Jen. Love these gals so much!

We went to the pioneer day parade in Salt Lake. The floats were so incredible, and the kids had a blast. we saw a horse drawn wagon smash into a car. That was pretty neat/scary. Jack and Stone were so excited to see each other at the parade! That night we made honey candy with the Cannons. It was so, so delicious!

Jack and I did watercolor painting projects!

and the biggest and best news of all.... GORDY TOOK THE UTAH BAR! So proud of him! What an accomplishment to finally have that over and done with... So much time went into him preparing and studying. I am so lucky to be married to such a hard worker!
