Last Days In Bloomington

It seemed like months and months, but really it was just a few weeks that our house was in shambles from packing. It felt like we were living in an area that had been struck by a natural disaster. Not only were we preparing all of our belongings to be stored for 5 months, but we were also packing for our 5 month stay in Utah, while simultaneously trying to keep enough of our things out to accommodate our family members who were coming for graduation. It was such a mess.

After Gordy was done with his finals, we played frisbee golf with the Castellanos, then went out to celebrate at Feast cafe.

We got ice cream cones and washed cars...

We enjoyed the nice weather and went on many walks...

...and we did lots of snuggles when I got sick to death of packing.

We frequented our favorite park on the other side of town several times.

We just plain loved being outside...

We had a friend of Gord's over for dinner. He's from Korea, so I made Korean street tacos for him and he LOVED it!

We remembered to take a last day of law school picture of Gordy.

When all was said and done, Gordy chose to go to Chili's for a burger as his celebration for being finished with law school. It was a surreal moment to realize all of the hard work and three years were really over, so we ate a giant cookie because it just seemed appropriate at the time.
