All throughout this summer, our regular Wednesday night activity was going to watch Gord play on the Carson Boxberger softball team. It was a really good excuse to get Jack out of the apartment. There is a nice play ground at the park, and Jack and I would spend most of the evening on the swings while Gordy played ball.
Occasionally, we would walk back over to watch Gord play. Jack was such a cute cheerleader. He would yell, "GO, GO, GO" and "YAY" for everyone and anything that happened.
It was a little difficult keeping him over by the game though, because he was just convinced that he belonged out on the field... poor guy.
At the end of the season, the whole team went out to get pizza, and the coach presented awards. All of them were kind of silly. Gordy got the Most Valuable Summer Associate Award (as a way to annoy the other summer associates).
